  1. Go to smoothapply.com and click Start building. No account is needed yet.
  2. Choose a template, or click Import my resume to upload an old PDF or Word file, or even a photo of a printed resume.
  3. Click any line and type. Add your jobs, school and skills. Leave out anything you cannot back up in an interview.

Yes. The free plan has no time limit. Building a resume needs no account; saving and downloading needs a free account with an email address only. PDF and Word downloads are unlimited, with no watermark and no credit card field anywhere. The only paid feature is unlimited AI writing, which is optional and never affects downloads.
Does it work on library and campus computers?
Yes. It runs in Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari with nothing to install. A patron can start on a library computer, save, and finish at home on a phone.
Can a patron come back later to edit the resume?
Yes. A free account keeps up to 20 resumes. Patrons can also download the Word file and keep editing it in Microsoft Word or Google Docs, which is useful when a counselor wants to mark it up.
What happens to patron data?
